Jessica Saldin is a senior associate with Plog & Stein, P.C., with an exclusive focus on family law matters. Jessica started with the firm in 2013 and, like other associates, has proven her worth as an attorney and addition to the Plog & Stein team. She has dealt with a variety of simple and complex family law issues, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities (including decision making responsibility and parenting time), division of property and debts, alimony (maintenance), modifications, enforcement proceedings, and other family law matters. Jessica has spent the majority of her legal career handling family law cases and enjoys working with her clients to achieve their goals. Having initially practiced in the Fort Collins area, Jessica moved to Denver in 2013 to work with Plog & Stein.
From 2013 to 2016, Jessica worked in our DTC office. In June of 2016, she spearheaded the launching of our north Denver area office in Broomfield. Recognizing the proximity issues people in the north part of town may have with coming down to the Denver Tech Center area, Plog & Stein opened a second office along the Highway 36 corridor. Having family and friends located north of Denver, it made perfect sense for Jessica to transfer to our second location. Moving forward to 2017, after successfully managing the Broomfield location, Jessica has now returned to our DTC office and will continue handling cases throughout the Denver area including in Jefferson, Arapahoe, Douglas, Broomfield, Adams, and Boulder Counties.
In practice, Jessica strives to ensure her clients understand what can be complex legal matters and to ease the stress that is often experienced by individuals in the midst of family law proceedings. Her keen sense of detail and desire to leave no stone unturned make Jessica a diligent and thorough attorney, both in and out of the courtroom. She also brings exceptional analytical, writing, and courtroom skills to each case she handles. Jessica is also a seasoned negotiator, settling many of her cases prior to hearing. She understands the intricacies of family law and strives for the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Jessica was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and International Affairs. After college, Jessica decided to move to the east coast, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from American University Washington College of Law. She obtained valuable experience and knowledge in law school; however, after living in the District of Columbia for three years, Jessica missed her home state of Colorado where she returned shortly after graduating from law school to study for, and pass, the 2009 Bar Examination. Jessica enjoys dedicating her time to her work and her clients during the weekdays. Jessica spends the majority of her free time at the dog park and walking her dog, Cooper. In the fall, Jessica looks forward to cheering for the University of Colorado football team. As an avid Buffs fan, she’s also ready to cheer them on in other sports and welcomes the coming of March Madness each Spring.
